Architecture practice based in London, undertaking residential, cultural and commercial projects in the UK and Portugal. Projects to date include new built private houses, house refurbishments and extensions, Listed building (Grade II* and Grade II) refurbishments and extensions, office conversions to residential, extension to an office building to create a rooftop café, gym spaces, warehouse refurbishment and extension to form a gallery, workspaces and residential units, and residential development work.

We look to create serene, contemplative spaces, through proportion and geometry, natural light and contrasting shadow, natural and sustainable materials, layered textures and colour tones, and ultimately by attempting to bring a garden into each project, allying in these ways with nature. 

Sitting, orientation, natural light, natural ventilation, and low carbon locally sourced materials are aspects of departure in the design of every project. The practice carries out regular research on low carbon footprint materials and systems for energy and water efficiency, in response to the current Climate emergency.

Projects are created collectively in collaboration with studio colleagues and consultants, engineers, clients and contractors.

The practice’s projects have been shown in online Architecture magazines and shortlisted for architecture awards.
